The local secondary, King Ecgbert School has about 2000 students, plus teachers, catering and caretaker staff.  The mission field is right there waiting for you to get involved!

OUR SCHOOL OUR RESPONSIBILITY!

In 2008 the Christian Union grew into 'New Generation' – more a movement than a club – where the idea is “LOVING KING ECGBERTS!”

The Christian students are responsible for leading this movement themselves - with support from Joel and Ben.

• So far they are offering free music lessons (LOVING MUSIC),
• A Y7 lunchtime group (LOVING COMMUNITY),
• Raising awareness about the Stop The Traffik campaign (LOVING JUSTICE)
• Random acts of kindness ranging from offering free sweets/ picking litter/ leaving money in the vending machines/ giving out Bibles (LOVING KES).
• Not to mention the friday lunchtime get together in room C21 (LOVING FELLOWSHIP)
